This audibly unique experience is not what you might expect from tap! The Condescending Heroes' repertoire concoctenates tap dance and the feel of rock and roll. Tristan Bruns gives the audience the unique experience of "seeing" the music as well as hearing it. Pitch, duration, dynamics... the tones of tap and guitar transmogrified into something new!

Kyle Greer is a southern boy with classical training turned nothern lad. He has an extensive background in both music and theatre. In CHicago he has performed in theatres such as the Jeff Award-winning Theo Ubique and The National Pastime Theatre. He has also performed as a solo singer/songwriter, and with his band, Fatally Cool (who were recently asked to audition for America's Got Talent) at venues such as Mary's Attic, Redline Tap, Ace Bar, Park West, and The Abbey Pub. Not only proficient as a performer and composer, he is active as an accompanist, vocal coach, teacher, transcriber, arranger, and all around musical jack-of-all-trades. Part theatre rock, dark cabaret, and chamber pop; he combines them all for your viewing and listening pleasures.
